PROYECTO HELICOIDE

Celeste Olalquiaga founded PROYECTO HELICOIDE in 2013 to recover the forgotten history of this unfinished 1950s shopping center, which has been a police headquarters since 1985 and is now a prison and torture center. To date, the project has produced several exhibitions and the book Downward Spiral: El Helicoide's Descent from Mall to Prison (2018).
